In this great interview, CNN Digital Director of Photography, Simon Barnett provides his insight into two of the World Cup’s most iconic photographs:  the Maradona “Hand of God” and Zinedine Zidane’s head butt.  

Barnett, who during the current World Cup is responsible for editing between eight and ten thousand photographs a day, surely knows what it takes to make an immediate impact with a photograph.  It’s interesting to hear his thoughts on two of the most iconic moments in soccer history.  Enjoy!
